A: No. RefAcademyAI certifications are non-accredited. That is intentional. Accreditation is slow-moving and often outdated. Instead, our system is performance-validated: you are certified based on growth, mentorship, and readiness to officiate in real-world environments.
Q2: Will completing RefAcademyAI guarantee me games?
A: We do not guarantee assignments. What we do provide is the clarity, posture, and certification leagues and organizations respect when making assignment decisions. We also partner with affiliates like SCOA to create recognized placement pathways.
Q3: How much money can I make as an official?
A: Earnings vary by sport and region. Many youth officials begin making $50–$100 per game, while varsity and college-level officials can earn significantly more. Tier 3 officials may also earn by mentoring and evaluating others.
Q4: How long does it take to complete a tier?
A: Because training is self-paced, you control the timeline. Some complete Tier 1 in a week; others take longer depending on schedule. Each tier is structured so you can move forward as soon as you are confident and evaluated.
Q5: What sports do you offer?
A: We currently focus on baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball. As RefAcademyAI grows, we will add more sports in partnership with affiliates.
Q6: What makes RefAcademyAI different?
A: We are not just an online course. We are a tiered system of transformation. You don’t just learn rules—you build leadership, get mentorship, and step into roles that increase your visibility and respect.
